Overview:
A well-established and globally active investment business is looking to hire a Senior Management Accountant to support its EMEA operations from its London office. The role offers broad exposure across financial and management reporting, cross-border operations, and transformation initiatives, with scope to contribute to ongoing growth and strategic projects across the EMEA and Asia regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end processes across multiple international entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial results.
Collaborate with third-party service providers on local financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
Support audit processes and preparation of statutory financial statements.
Deliver management reports and analysis, including P&L variance explanations, balance sheet insights, cash flow projections, and capital adequacy forecasts.
Partner with regional teams on annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Contribute to process improvement efforts, including automation of financial reports and data consolidation.
Provide financial insights and ad-hoc analysis to support regional leadership and functional stakeholders.
Participate in finance-related change projects as required.

Your Profile:

Fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent experience.
Ideally German Speaking
5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience, ideally within financial services or a multinational business.
Solid understanding of IFRS; familiarity with other European GAAPs is a plus.
High proficiency in Excel; experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP) strongly preferred.
Comfortable handling multi-currency environments and large data sets.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across time zones and functions.
Detail-oriented, with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability.
German language skills and coding experience are advantageous but not essential.
