Job Title: Product Specialist – TPS (Transaction Processing System)
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid) or Remote (UK-Based)
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

Imperium Financial Recruitment is working in partnership with a global technology provider to the insolvency sector. We’re seeking a Product Specialist to join their TPS team – a key role supporting clients migrating from IPS SQL to TPS, with a particular focus on high-value, complex implementations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an insolvency background who’s looking to move into a client-facing, product-focused role within a dynamic tech environment. The position is based in Glasgow with hybrid working, or remote for UK-based candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Solution Delivery

Deliver and configure TPS for clients migrating from IPS SQL, focusing on larger, complex client transitions.

Act as a TPS subject matter expert, translating insolvency requirements into effective solutions.

Support standard onboarding projects with TPS configuration and documentation.

Maintain and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation processes.

Product Development & System Improvement

Investigate system issues, conduct root cause analysis, and feed findings into the development cycle.

Create or contribute to user stories aimed at improving TPS based on client needs.

Support testing processes including regression testing and feature validation.

Provide structured feedback to enhance system performance and usability.

Collaboration & Support

Liaise with support teams to resolve TPS-related escalations.

Deliver occasional client demos, workshops, or training sessions.

Share insights across departments to ensure TPS evolves in line with market and client needs.

Quality, Documentation & Continuous Improvement

Champion improvements that enhance system quality, reduce support demand, and improve user experience.

Maintain high-quality documentation and clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Proactively identify recurring pain points and suggest long-term fixes or process improvements.

What You’ll Bring

Prior insolvency experience (e.g., case administrator, case manager, cashier, or insolvency practitioner).

Understanding of UK insolvency legislation and transactional workflows.

Qualifications such as AAT, CPI or equivalent are desirable.

Excellent communication and client engagement skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience working across departments and handling a varied workload.

Attention to detail, documentation quality, and process ownership.

Knowledge of IPS Cloud is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
