Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading business based in Ipswich, who are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Accountant. This is an extremely varied role, where the successful candidate will be responsible for month end close processes, and audit, tax and accounts filing.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Completing monthly overhead accruals and prepayment preparation as part of month end close.
Tracking and reconciling customer vouchers as deferred income.
Intercompany reconciliation and clearing between group companies
Cash-flow and working capital tracking and management.
Overhead supplier invoice processing, and query handling
Supporting the annual audit processes and answering audit queries if in scope.
Preparation of statutory accounts for tax and annual filing.
Responsible for quarterly VAT return submission.
Assist with year-end corporation tax return.

Skills & Experience required:

Proven experience working within a similar role in a senior capacity
Qualified to L4/ACCA/CIMA level
Experience dealing with high volume transactions
Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft packages and accounting related software
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Proven supervisory or team management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate team members
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Flexibility to travel to London office as and when required
