Relationship Support Officer – Front of House Support

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a professional, front-of-house environment? We’re looking for a personable and highly organised individual to join our Branch Banking team as a Relationship Support Officer – Front of House Support.

This is a client-facing role where you’ll act as the first point of contact for visitors, helping to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere while supporting the Relationship Management team in day-to-day administrative and client service activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients and visitors, providing a professional and friendly reception experience

Manage front desk duties including phone handling, enquiries, mail, and meeting room coordination

Maintain a clean and presentable reception area

Provide administrative support to Relationship Managers, including assistance with client documentation, reporting, and correspondence

Support with the coordination of client meetings and follow-ups

Input and maintain accurate client data in internal systems

Assist in cash handling duties, including voucher generation, balancing, and coordination with cash-in-transit services

Handle counter-related services such as cheque and paying-in book orders, TCF, and transaction processing

Liaise with internal departments to help resolve client servicing queries and ensure smooth operations

Ensure all duties remain in line with regulatory guidance – no dealing, advising or approving regulated financial products

What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role, ideally within banking or a financial services environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

A team player who can work collaboratively and manage competing priorities effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Previous experience in handling cash, counter transactions, or client account servicing is desirable

Degree or equivalent qualification preferred but not essential

Up to 3 years of experience in banking or a related sector is recommended
