The Role

This is a Technical Lead position to join a growing fintech and crypto-focused business. You’ll play a key role in building, scaling, and delivering innovative products to clients across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, testing, release, support, and maintenance of complex financial platforms.
Work with modern technologies: backend services in Node.js with SQL databases, front-end in Angular, and cloud deployments in Kubernetes on Google Cloud.
Collaborate closely with product managers to design, build, and ship scalable, high-impact features.
Embed crypto services into the platform, enabling seamless fiat and digital asset management for clients.

Key requirements:

Proven experience within a backend coding language – this could be C#/C++/Java/Go
Technical Leadership experience to successfully deliver business critical projects in a hands-on capacity while leading a small technical team
Expert proficiency in server-side development, ideally TypeScript
Strong experience with Node.js and frameworks like NestJS.
Background in microservices and distributed systems
High-level expertise in SQL development (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of front-end frameworks, ideally Angular and Angular Material.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred).
Expertise in automated testing at unit, integration, and system levels.
Experience with CI/CD platforms, ideally GitLab.
Interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies (Ethereum, Bitcoin, etc.).
Prior experience in fintech or banking is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
