Our client, a respected provider of supported accommodation, is seeking a Youth Development Worker to join their dynamic support team in Bristol. This is a chance to be part of a service that transforms lives – guiding young people to develop independence, resilience, and confidence.

The Role

As a Youth Development Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting young people to overcome challenges and achieve their personal goals. This is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to empower the next generation.

About You

We’re looking for someone who can build trusting relationships with young people while maintaining a professional and supportive approach. You’ll need:

The ability to engage with and motivate young people from diverse backgrounds
An understanding of safeguarding and emotional and mental health needs
Experience with support planning and risk management
Strong communication skills and a flexible, person-centred approach
Confidence in lone working, alongside being a proactive team player
Resilience, creativity, and a genuine passion for empowering others
