Administrative Coordinator
Hourly rate: £16.41 per hour (PAYE)
Location: Southgate, London
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (3 months with potential for permanent position)
Join a leading housing association in Southgate, London, as an Administrative Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone with a planning or coordinating background in the housing or construction sector, ready to provide essential support to the Contract Manager. Initially, this is a 3-month temporary position with the possibility of becoming a permanent role.
Day-to-day of the role:
Provide general administrative support to the Contract Manager and the Working at Heights Supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of ongoing work to a high standard.
Raise and receipt purchase orders and track costs for jobs.
Liaise with the planning team to update jobs in DRS and Northgate systems.
Coordinate with the client to ensure that work is meeting the requisite timescales.
Coordinate roofing, scaffolding, and fire doors workstream.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Excellent multitasking skills, capable of using multiple systems and applications.
Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
Minimum qualifications include Mathematics and English.
Experience in a customer service-focused environment is essential.
Desirable: Experience in roofing, scaffolding, fire doors, or a quality-controlled environment.
