We’re Hiring: WordPress Developer

What You’ll Be Doing:
Developing, maintaining and optimising WordPress websites, themes and plugins
Writing clean, functional code using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Working with MySQL and Web APIs to ensure seamless integration and performance
Using Adobe Creative Suite to assist in visual and functional development
Testing, debugging and troubleshooting to keep projects running smoothly
Collaborating with designers and marketers to bring creative concepts to life
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience developing responsive, dynamic websites in WordPress
Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development
A keen eye for detail and a passion for user experience
Ability to problem-solve and work independently within deadlines
Based within commutable distance to our Newcastle office
UK-based and eligible to work full-time in the UK
Minimum 2 years experience in an agency or similar role

The application process will involve two stages.
The first stage will be a virtual interview via Microsoft Teams. Candidates who progress to the second stage will be invited to complete a short project and present their work in person at our office in Killingworth, Newcastle. This gives us a chance to see your skills in action and gives you the opportunity to meet the team and get a feel for the role.
We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an agency or similar role, ready to take the next step and contribute to a variety of client projects as part of a growing digital team.
