Mid-Weight Headless WordPress Developer – 6-month Fixed Term Contract – £45k

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a digital agency who are Mid-weight Headless WordPress Developer to join their digital team on a contract basis.

This role will work across exciting web projects, collaborating with designers and developers to build fast, scalable sites using WordPress as a headless CMS alongside React and Next.js.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain websites using headless WordPress architecture
Implement REST APIs to deliver content from WordPress
Optimise websites for speed, SEO, and accessibility
Ensure high-quality code through testing and documentation
Debug and resolve development issues

Key Skills:

WordPress development experience (themes, plugins, CPTs).
Strong experience with headless CMS (WordPress + React/Next.js)
Proficient in PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Tailwind
Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) block development
