Seeking an Administrator to join a dedicated service provider, that offers a specialised transportation for disabled children to and from school.
Job Summary:
The Administrator will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our school taxi service. This position requires a highly organised individual who can manage a busy workload, handle multiple time-critical tasks, and ensure all processes comply with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, the ability to prioritise effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling and Coordination:
– Organise and manage daily schedules for taxi drivers and routes.
– Communicate with schools, parents, and drivers to confirm pick-up and drop-off times.
– Adjust schedules as needed in response to changes or emergencies.
Compliance Management:
– Ensure all drivers have up-to-date certifications and background checks.
– Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, insurance, and inspections.
– Monitor compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
Administrative Duties:
– Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
– Maintain organised and up-to-date files and records.
– Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
Communication:
– Serve as a primary point of contact for parents, drivers, and school staff.
– Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to transportation services.
– Provide clear and timely communication to all stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, keep detailed records, and maintain an organised workspace.
– Time Management: Proven ability to handle a busy workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
