Service Charge Team Leader
Birmingham
from £45,000 plus Benefits, depending on experience

My client, a leading and award winning property management company with portfolios all over England, Scotland and Wales, are on the lookout for a motivated Service Charge Team Leader to join their team in Birmingham.

You will oversee a team of Service Charge Accountants, managing accounts and cost estimates for a regional portfolio. You will ensure all team members meet productivity targets and make informed decisions to maintain compliance with legislation.

Duties:

Manage and support a team of Service Charge Accountants.
Oversee accurate management of service charge accounts and cost estimates.
Monitor team performance and ensure accountability to productivity metrics.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Provide regular reports and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve service charge issues and improve processes.

Requirements:

2 years of Experience within a Service Charge position at a managerial level
Proficiency in using reporting tools (e.g. Excel, BI tools, or any other relevant platforms) to track and manager team performance.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of service charge legislation and industry standards.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, 1 day WFH / week
