An established and forward-thinking property management company in Croydon is seeking a Service Charge Credit Controller to take ownership of service charge finance processes across a varied portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

Review and prepare service charge budgets and expenditure reports
Manage designated client bank accounts and perform reconciliations
Assist with accrual accounting, forecasting, and year-end reporting
Liaise with external accountants to ensure audit compliance
Conduct internal audits and resolve billing discrepancies
Support Companies House filings
Collaborate on finance software implementation
Streamline financial processes and improve controls

What We’re Looking For (Skills & Experience):

Experience in residential block or estate management finance
Strong knowledge of service charge accounting and ARMA/RICS compliance
Skilled in accrual accounting and reconciliations
Capable of handling multiple designated accounts
Detail-oriented with audit awareness
Self-driven and deadline-focused
