Senior Project Manager – Events
Location: Rural Location, just outside of Baldock (Hybrid flexibility, minimum 3 – 4 days a week in the office)
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (dependent on experience)
Benefits: Regular team events, monthly team lunches, collaborative culture, international travel opportunities
Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:30 (occasional evening and weekend work required)
About the Role
My client is an award-winning, family-run events agency based just outside Baldock. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team and help deliver unforgettable experiences for clients across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
This role will focus on managing a portfolio of European clients, delivering bespoke events tailored to their needs. You will take client briefs, develop creative event concepts, and lead the planning and execution of events across various European destinations. Some travel may require occasionally being away for up to a week at a time.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project management for UK and international events
Take detailed client briefs and develop bespoke event ideas
Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
Build strong relationships with European clients and stakeholders
Oversee budgets, timelines, and project documentation
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, registration, logistics)
Source and manage suppliers and venues across Europe
Deliver events on-site, ensuring exceptional client experiences
Travel for client meetings and event delivery (UK & Europe)
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of event management experience (agency and/or international preferred)
Experience managing European clients and overseas event delivery preferable but not essential
Strong budget management and financial acumen
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail
Proactive, adaptable, and calm under pressure
A team player who brings energy and creativity to every project
Full UK driving licence and own transport (due to location)
