Join a fast-paced, customer-focused IT services team as a Senior Support Engineer, supporting and maintaining modern IT infrastructures across a broad client base. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, managing escalations, and working with a wide range of technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 3rd line support and resolve escalated technical issues across servers, networks, cloud, and desktop environments
Maintain infrastructure: AD, Exchange, firewalls, backup systems, virtualisation platforms (Hyper-V, VMware)
Ensure SLAs are met and deliver outstanding customer service via phone, email, and remote support
Accurately document support activities and update client systems
Liaise with 3rd party vendors to manage escalations and resolve issues
Key Skills & Experience
Proven 3rd line IT support experience in a managed services or enterprise environment
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, and Active Directory
Virtualisation: VMware (vSphere, ESXi), Hyper-V
Backup technologies: Veeam, Commvault
Solid networking skills: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewall config (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Meraki etc.)
Scripting experience (PowerShell); knowledge of SQL, Linux, and MacOS a plus
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Relevant IT certifications are an advantage (e.g. Microsoft, VMware, Cisco)
