Qualified Senior FP&A Analyst / Senior Finance Analyst | Stoke on Trent | £50,000 – £55,000 bonus / healthcare / pension

The Opportunity

Have you recently qualified within practice but have a clear desire to make the step to industry?

This is a leap into FP&A / Added value analysis and reporting / business partnering.

You will be joining a team of talented qualified accountants within a function focused solely on supporting the business to make incredible evidence-led decisions.

Your focus will be budgeting, forecasting, variance discussions, added value analysis, modelling, planning, MI and dashboard reporting – – in summary using your analytical skills and commercial awareness to bring vital insights to non finance stakeholders.

The role is a step away from the grind of month end and in the direction of added value ‘forward-looking’ finance reporting.

You need to have:

ACCA / ACA or equivalent.
Excellent and clearly demonstrable analytical skills – ability to use Excel (or Power BI) to distil large volumes of data into accessible and meaningful summaries for colleagues inside and outside of the finance function.
Great interpersonal and communication skills – ability to build relationships with colleagues across various functions of the business.
A naturally curious and proactive approach – to understanding the numbers / bringing the numbers to life.
Confidence when discussing financial information and MI with a varied audience.
Keenness to learn and develop / enhance your career.
