Job Title: Senior Contracts Litigator
Location: Leeds City Centre (Hybrid Working)
Salary Range: £40,000 to £55,000 + Benefits
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

Act for clients in consumer contract disputes (including new build and misrepresentation) and professional negligence claims
Manage the full lifecycle of claims, from initial assessment through to final hearing and enforcement, across fast, intermediate, and multi-track cases
Provide accurate, clear legal advice, managing client expectations and explaining decisions and procedural steps clearly and succinctly
Ensure fair treatment of clients at all stages of the process
Take all reasonable steps to settle claims efficiently and recover legal costs
Accurately record time spent and maintain up-to-date system records
Identify personal and team learning and development needs and opportunities
Contribute to the strategic development of departmental best practice, product performance, and customer experience through continuous improvement initiatives
Participate in and contribute to idea generation and implementation, in a supportive environment where innovation is encouraged
Supervise and mentor junior team members, including reviewing correspondence and court documents, conducting weekly file reviews, and supporting professional development
