Description

Develop and execute commercial strategies to maximise growth within the discounter retail segment.
Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion.
Negotiate terms and agreements with retail partners to optimise profitability.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency within the sales department.

Profile

A successful Senior Commercial Manager – Discounters will have:

A strong background in the FMCG sector, specifically within the sales function.
Proven experience in managing relationships with discount retail channels.
Proven success in scaling up a channel. Deliver a channel strategy.
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and drive informed decisions.
A solid understanding of the UK retail landscape, particularly in Rochester and surrounding areas.
