Senior Accountant

A leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their friendly and high-performing team. With a strong focus on staff development, regular 1:1s, and a collaborative culture, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or finalist ACA/ACCA professional with a passion for audit and client service.

About the Role:

You’ll be part of a close-knit team that values both attitude and skill. The role involves leading audits and supporting junior staff, while also contributing to the preparation and review of accounts and tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead audits for limited companies, charities, academies, and clubs
Support and mentor junior team members
Prepare complex accounts and tax returns
Review simpler accounts and tax returns
Assist partners with portfolio management
Contribute to the training and development of trainees
About You:
ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist
Minimum 3 years’ audit experience in a practice environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
