SALES TEAM MANAGER – ROMFORD

Salary: Up to £40,000 basic + OTE £50,000 – Uncapped
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week (6-week rotating shift pattern)

Are you a proven sales leader with the drive, passion, and edge to inspire results and transform performance?
This is not just a job — it’s a career-defining opportunity for a hands-on, high-performing Sales Team Manager to join a thriving, forward-thinking contact centre operation in Romford.

If you know how to turn numbers into action, people into performers, and ambition into results — we want to hear from you.

WHO YOU ARE

You’re not just experienced — you’re exceptional. A true sales motivator. Someone who doesn’t just manage teams, but builds, coaches, and elevates them. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where targets are high and the energy is even higher. You know how to read a dashboard and act fast, make confident decisions, and lead with both empathy and authority.

You’re commercially minded, customer-focused, and not afraid to get your hands dirty. Whether you’re coaching on a sales call, analysing performance reports, or leading a recruitment day — you’re switched on, solutions-focused, and always looking one step ahead.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Sales Team Manager, you’ll lead a team of talented telesales agents within a busy, KPI-driven contact centre. Your mission: drive performance, elevate standards, and create a culture where people love to win — together.

Key responsibilities include:

Team Leadership: Managing day-to-day performance, ensuring targets are exceeded and energy stays high.

Coaching & Development: Conducting regular 1:1s, building tailored coaching plans, and supporting each team member’s growth.

Recruitment & Onboarding: Playing a key role in hiring top talent and setting them up for long-term success.

Performance Management: Monitoring KPIs and using data to inform coaching, strategy, and decisions.

Process Improvement: Identifying ways to streamline operations and improve the customer journey.

Compliance & Reporting: Ensuring full adherence to FCA regulations and producing reports for senior management.

Experience in an FCA-regulated environment preferred

Knowledge of Travel Insurance is a bonus, but not essential
