NET Recruit have partnered with a maritime business to recruit a Sales & Purchasing Officer located in Poole.
Your Role
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
Processing sales orders and supporting the management of customer accounts
Handling purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely product delivery
Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock control
Coordinating activities between sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless operations
Managing customer enquiries, delivering high-quality service and resolving issues promptly
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date import/export documentation related to orders
Ensuring adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and established best practices
You MUST Have:
Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
Previous sales administration or purchasing experience within a similar role
Ideally, exposure to the maritime or engineering sectors
Excellent communication skills
Good aptitude for learning new systems
Strong existing IT skills including Microsoft Office and Sage
PLEASE NOTE: It’s imperative that applicants must have good German language knowledge due to using German systems.
Your Opportunity:
This is an established business, a leader within its sector, proudly supplying required parts into the marine sector, for a number of different businesses. The position holder will be playing a vital role in the ordering process, managing sales orders, processing purchase orders and ensuring a smooth process in order to meet customer requirements.
For the successful candidate a salary in the region of £28,000 would be on offer, alongside a comprehensive renumeration package that will include additional a good holiday allocation, and pension contribution among other benefits.
