Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

We are working with a number of reputable law firms in East London who are seeking skilled and motivated Residential Conveyancing Solicitors to join their busy and dynamic property teams. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion, delivering high-quality legal services and excellent client care.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of residential conveyancing including:

Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
Transfers of equity
Re-mortgages
New build transactions
Shared ownership schemes
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
Draft and review legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation
Conduct title checks and searches
Ensure compliance with regulatory and anti-money laundering requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files using case management systems
Provide clear, timely, and professional advice to clients
Contribute to business development and client retention initiatives

Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (1+ years PQE preferred)
Proven experience in residential conveyancing
Strong technical knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Proficiency in using legal case management systems
