We’re supporting a specialist insurance client in identifying a reliable, detail-focused operations professional to take ownership of key quarterly bordereaux reporting tasks. This is a part-time engagement (approximately 2 days per quarter) focused on easing pressure on the underwriting team by delivering accurate and validated bordereaux reports.
You’ll be responsible for extracting raw data from the policy management system, cleaning and reconciling it in Excel, and compiling several key quarterly bordereaux. Your work will directly support underwriters by allowing them to focus on higher-value tasks, while ensuring the integrity of underwriting and claims data.
Key Responsibilities
Download and prepare raw data extracts from the policy system
Cleanse, validate and reconcile data using Excel
Compile the following quarterly reports: Main Binder Written Risk Bordereaux; Construction Binder Written Risk Bordereaux; Main Binder Written Risks Data Validation; Claims Bordereaux
Conduct cross-quarter data comparisons and troubleshoot discrepancies
Support process improvement and automation where possible
Requirements
Proven experience working with bordereaux reporting in an insurance or MGA environment
Advanced Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, reconciliation logic)
Confidence working with policy admin systems
Methodical, detail-oriented and highly self-sufficient
Able to deliver accurate work to fixed quarterly deadlines
