Receptionist & Sales Support
Monday – Friday – 35 hours – 8.30am – 4pm
9-month Fixed Term Contract
Stoke on Trent £23,500 per annum

We’re working with a leading international manufacturer and supplier within the construction/building sector, known for their innovation, quality and design.

Committed to delivering outstanding service and support to clients across various sectors. They’re now looking to add a proactive and detail-focused Receptionist & Sales Support to their growing UK team.

Purpose of the Job
The role will require a motivated and professional individual to join the team as a Receptionist and Sales Support on a 9-month maternity cover contract.

This dual-role position plays a key part in maintaining a welcoming office environment and supporting the sales team with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Reception Duties:

Greeting visitors and ensuring a professional front-of-house experience
Managing incoming calls and emails, directing enquiries to the relevant departments
Handling post and courier deliveries
Arranging travel and hotel bookings for colleagues and directors, as well as customers for events
Managing meeting room bookings and assisting with hospitality needs

Sales Support Duties:

Providing administrative support to the sales team
Assisting with quote preparation, order entry, and processing
Assisting with the accounts function, and where necessary chasing debt
Assisting the admin department with basic order processing when required
Coordinating with logistics to support order fulfilment
Assisting with preparation for trade shows and marketing events

Desired Skills and Experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Proven time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
Strong customer focus with a proactive and professional approach.
Previous experience in a similar role.
