Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Holidays: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays

We are seeking a professional and approachable Receptionist to join a friendly office team. This is a front-of-house role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area while supporting wider facilities tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Greeting and welcoming visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression
Managing the switchboard, directing calls, and taking accurate messages
Coordinating meeting rooms, including setup, refreshments, and ensuring rooms are kept tidy and well-presented
Handling incoming and outgoing post and courier services
Maintaining office supplies and liaising with suppliers where necessary
Assisting with general facilities support, such as reporting maintenance issues and liaising with contractors
Providing ad hoc administrative support for internal teams

About You

Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service role
Excellent communication skills with a polite and professional manner
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
Proactive, reliable, and confident working independently
Comfortable with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and switchboard systems
