R&D Chemist – Foam, Coatings, Ink, or Adhesives

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking to recruit an R&D Chemist with industrial experience in foam, coatings, inks, or adhesives to join their Research & Development department.

The successful candidate will hold a First Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or a related discipline. A PhD, particularly with relevant experience in product development and technology innovation, would be a distinct advantage

This role involves close collaboration with the production, quality, and sales teams, offering the opportunity to take products from laboratory trials through to full-scale production.

Key responsibilities include:

Routine testing and analysis of existing and new formulations
Supporting the development and improvement of products
Ensuring accurate, efficient work to prevent delays in project timelines
