Are you a creative and passionate Drama or Performing Arts teacher with QTS?
We’re working with a forward-thinking high school in Nelson that is looking to appoint an engaging and dynamic QTS Performing Arts / Drama Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time, long-term temporary basis.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across KS3 and KS4 through a rich and varied Performing Arts curriculum. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in Drama and Performing Arts

Encouraging creativity, collaboration, and confidence in students

Leading practical workshops, productions, and performance assessments

Differentiating lessons to support all learners, including those with SEND

Contributing to the wider creative life of the school through clubs and school shows

The Ideal Candidate:

? QTS with a specialism in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject – Essential
? Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
? Strong classroom presence with excellent behaviour management
? Passionate about the arts and student development
? Able to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
