JOB TITLE: Property Manager – Immediate Start
LOCATION: Brighton
HOURS: Monday – Friday 37.5 Hours Per week
SALARY: £16 – £18 per hour
DURATION: Ongoing
Our client is seeking an experienced Property Manager who can quickly gain an excellent rapport with Landlords, Tenants and Maintenance Teams. You will liaise with all parties to and deal with any property maintenance queries and arrange diaries, appointments and negotiate best prices for the works to be undertaken.
The ideal candidate will:
Contract Preparation:
Prepare and manage lease agreements and rental contracts.
Update and maintain contract records with meticulous attention to detail.
Tenant Inquiries and Repair Management:
Respond to day-to-day inquiries from tenants regarding repairs and maintenance.
Differentiate and manage responsibilities between landlord and tenant repairs.
Coordinate and schedule necessary repairs and maintenance with approved contractors.
Key Management:
Ensure keys are signed in and out as needed, keeping accurate records.
Maintain a secure and organised key storage system.
Property Inspections:
Arrange and conduct regular inspections of the flats.
Address any issues identified during inspections promptly.
Checkouts and Inventories:
Conduct tenant checkouts in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare detailed inventory reports for each property.
Utilities and Vendor Management:
Advise and assist tenants with utility setups and issues.
Property Management Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the properties.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housing laws.
The ideal candidate for this role will have following skills and attributes:
Proven property management background
Keen understanding of legislation regarding property and maintenance
Pro active with a great eye for detail
Excellent customer service skills
