Project Manager – Public sector experience required

Start Date: 1st July 2025
Duration: 12 months with a 12 month extension possible (Outside IR35)
Location: Home Based with very occasional visits to Worcestershire area (1-2X a month)
Experience
– Led and delivered at least three large-scale, successful projects.
– Crucial experience integrating applications into the Technology-1 ERP system, the council’s core system.
– Over 10 years of project management experience, particularly with larger projects.
– Experience implementing large-scale projects in the public sector.
– Proven ability to join and manage projects that are already well-established.
Skills and Qualifications
– A project management qualification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
– Theoretical and practical knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
– Proficiency in project management software tools.
– Expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
– Ability to manage project plans, track deliverables, ensure quality assurance, and handle risk tracking.
– Familiarity with Civica Cx and Total Mobile systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
Competencies
– Client-facing and diplomatic, with strong stakeholder engagement skills
– Experience of local government.
