Elevation Recruitment Group- Business Support Division are excited to be exclusively partnered with a growing FMCG business in South Sheffield (Close link to M1) in their search for a Part-Time Production Planner to join them on a permanent basis.
We’re seeking an experienced Production Planner to support manufacturing and supply chain operations on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong planning background who can confidently manage production schedules, coordinate with co-packers, and ensure efficient stock management across UK and EU operations.

20-24 hours a week- flex how this is worked either 3 days or over 5 days

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule production with third-party co-packers based on stock levels, demand forecasts, and minimum order quantities (MOQs).
Use Excel-based tools to track inventory and coordinate shipments to EU fulfilment centres (FBA).
Create and maintain accurate production orders and batch records in SAP.
Update and monitor demand forecasts, highlighting risks, opportunities, and stock-related concerns.
Ensure timely and complete production delivery (OTIF).
Support SAP functions including stock transfers, batch tracking, and inventory accuracy.
Communicate production and schedule updates across teams in a timely and clear manner.
Identify and implement process improvements and assist in resolving recurring planning issues.
Act as a team player, providing cover during holidays and key projects.
Build and manage strong relationships with co-packers in the UK and EU.
Skills & Experience Required:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
Prior experience in a Production Planning or Scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Excel for planning and reporting.
Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement tools.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
