Job Specification: Pricing AnalystSalary: £50,000 – £65,000 + Benefits + Profit Share Bonus
Location: Kent – Hybrid / Flexible Working
Overview We are seeking a commercially minded Pricing Analyst to design, execute, and optimise data-driven pricing solutions that maximise profitability while balancing customer acquisition, retention, and competitive positioning.
The role will focus on developing innovative pricing strategies, managing significant revenue streams, and delivering actionable insights to senior stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align pricing approaches with wider business objectives, exploring new technologies and methodologies to drive sustainable, long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and implement pricing opportunities to maximise profitability while maintaining competitive positioning
Analyse product performance, pricing trends, and conversion rates to guide strategy
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design, test, and launch new offerings
Optimise existing products by balancing revenue per unit with overall portfolio performance
Lead initiatives to improve customer acquisition, renewal rates, and cross-sell opportunities
Conduct A/B testing, scenario modelling, and predictive analysis to validate strategies
Monitor pricing performance and present insights in a clear, actionable format to non-technical stakeholders
Explore applications of AI and machine learning in pricing optimisation and automation
Skills & ExperienceRequired:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering pricing or commercial optimisation projects
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Experience working with large datasets to extract insights for commercial decision-making
Knowledge of pricing methodologies, predictive modelling, and optimisation techniques
Familiarity with A/B testing and statistical analysis
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Desirable:
Understanding of product performance metrics, risk factors, and customer behaviour drivers
Exposure to AI and machine learning applications in pricing or revenue management
Experience working within a regulated environment
