People Development Specialist (Technical/Operational Training)
Location: Flexible (ideally South West, hybrid/remote depending on location)
Salary: £65,000 + excellent benefits
A leading national property services contractor is looking to appoint a People Development Specialist to support the design and delivery of operational and technical training programmes across its commercial and operational workforce.
This is a newly created role within a growing People Development Team and is central to the organisation’s strategic goal of building a high-performance, coaching-led culture. The role will work closely with operational teams, supporting skills development in trade, construction, and maintenance environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Source, design and deliver engaging training and qualification programmes
Build and maintain the company’s CITB relationship to access funding and ensure qualification relevance
Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to align training with compliance and site safety
Use learning technology to implement blended learning solutions
Work with internal stakeholders to conduct training needs analysis and build impactful development pathways
About You:
Strong background in L&D or People Development within a trade, construction, or maintenance setting
Confident designing and delivering technical or operational training programmes
Comfortable using Learning Management Systems and digital tools to enhance delivery
Excellent communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders
Committed to embedding diversity, inclusion and safety in all development activity

Salary: £65,000
