We’re working with a respected and award-winning organisation in Sleaford to recruit a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. You’ll be responsible for managing the full payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. You’ll also play a key role in improving systems and supporting wider HR and finance functions.

Key Duties Include:

Running monthly payroll, including pension submissions and HMRC filings
Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and tax requirements
Handling year-end processes and reconciliations
Processing changes such as starters, leavers, statutory payments, and overtime
Preparing payroll reports and BACs payment files
Supporting onboarding by tracking new starter documentation
Producing regular and ad hoc payroll data reports
Reviewing and enhancing payroll systems and procedures

Proven experience in payroll
Able to work independently and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with payroll software
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
