Part Time Finance Assistant – Marketing Agency

I’m working on behalf of a marketing agency in London who are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team. Previous experience within this industry would be a huge advantage.
This role is part time, working morning’s 5 days a week Mon-Fri or 3 full days a week.
Duties and responsibilities
Responsible for :
Raising invoices.
Processing accounts payable and receivable.
Approval and reconciliation of POs.
Invoice queries and chasing outstanding payments
Bank reconciliation.
Post and reconcile credit card transactions and expense payments.
Maintain accurate and organised financial records in Xero.
Support preparation of monthly finance reporting and monthly accounts.
Support in the submission of VAT returns and audits
Experience and qualifications
Finance administration – experience working as a Finance Administrator or Finance Assistant.
Software – skilled Xero user and Google Sheets/Excel
AAT – qualified or working towards (desirable)
Commerciality – strong financial acumen, understanding of the agency model and account financial management best practices.
