Operations Senior Manager – Treasury Products, Trading & Settlements – c james

We are seeking a dynamic Operations professional to lead our treasury products, trading, and settlements function at this London-based international bank. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee a small, skilled team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, compliance, and efficiency in treasury activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end operations for treasury products, including trading execution, settlements, and reconciliations.
Lead a compact team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FCA, PRA, and international standards).
Optimize operational processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
Collaborate with front and middle office teams to support trading strategies and product innovation.
Monitor and mitigate operational risks, ensuring robust controls and reporting.
Drive continuous improvement in systems and workflows to support scalability.

Requirements:

8+ years recent experience in banking operations, with deep expertise in treasury products, trading, and settlements.
Proven leadership at a senior level, with experience managing small, high-impact teams.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and market practices.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and proficiency in operational systems (e.g., SWIFT, Bloomberg).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
