Operations Manager – Construction

A well-established and expanding group of companies in the Construction and specialist Trades sector is seeking a strategic and hands-on Operations Manager to come in and join the business.

About the Role:

You’ll lead the operational delivery across multiple on-site specialist Trades, Property and Development teams
You will liaise with internal stakeholders, including Quantity Surveyors, Design, Sales, Finance and the Senior Leadership team
You will ensure team efficiency and collaboration to enable project delivery and cost management whilst delivering a strong customer service culture across the organisation

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational KPIs
Oversee Health & Safety compliance and RAMS completion
Manage company assets and time management systems
Report to, and liaise with the Group Managing Director
Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement

You will have a strong background working in a similar Building / Construction / Property business, and have experience working with Trades professionals, and liaising across multiple professional functions within a business . You will have strong technical and IT skills and be able to use a suite of software to drive effectiveness and efficiencies.

You’ll have proven leadership and communication skills, and be able to work comfortably with the MD, whilst organising Trades on site. This is an office-based role in South Liverpool, so you must live a sensible commutable distance away from site
