Meraki Talent are working with an investment manager to help identify an Operational Risk Analyst.

You will support their Senior Risk Manager across all aspects of enterprise and operational risk, contributing to risk management processes, internal reporting, and key business initiatives.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Conduct reviews of risk events, ensuring action plans are implemented to mitigate risks and close control gaps
Promote awareness and understanding of operational and enterprise risks across the firm
Assist in the preparation of risk reporting and management information (MI)
Support the Risk Manager in conducting Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and top-down risk assessments
Assist in internal and external audits and regulatory reviews as needed
Contribute to firm-wide risk-related projects and initiatives, such as enhancements to the Supplier Management Framework

We are looking for:

Understanding of operational risk frameworks and methodologies
Awareness of investment management operations, ideally including familiarity with the responsibilities of an AFM/AIFM
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
High attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau and/or Power BI is desirable
University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Finance, Economics, Risk, Business)
Up to 1 year of experience in enterprise risk, operational risk, or compliance OR a motivated graduate with a keen interest in risk management
