Salary: Up to £30,000
Based: St Ives
Hours: 08:30 am – 04:30pm (30 minute lunch)

We are delighted to be supporting our client, a specialist consultancy in the life sciences sector, with the recruitment of an Office Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit and supportive team, where you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly and supporting projects that help biotech and pharmaceutical companies bring new treatments to trial.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Quality team and wider business, including formatting documents, managing records, and preparing audit materials.
Handle general office administration such as reception duties, post, couriers, stationery, and office space management.
Organise and support meetings, seminars, and client visits, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing follow-up actions.
Draft and process contracts, manage e-signature workflows, maintain filing systems, and ensure accurate timesheet submissions.
Contribute to business development activities while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
What We’re Looking For

Previous office administration experience in a professional environment.
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Word (document formatting, consistency, templates).
Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable calling clients when required.
