About the Role

We are currently seeking several Multi-Skilled Trade Operatives to join our responsive maintenance team. This is a mobile role requiring a self-motivated and experienced professional to carry out a range of maintenance tasks across social housing properties.

Key Responsibilities

Operate independently as a mobile worker on responsive maintenance tasks
Manage and complete daily workload efficiently in line with scheduled calls
Carry out all work safely, meeting high-quality standards
Engage with residents in a professional and respectful manner to resolve issues or complaints
Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, industry standards, and legal obligations
Maintain a ‘right first-time fix’ approach across all assigned tasks
Undertake a variety of trades-based tasks, including:
Tiling
Painting & Decorating
Basic Plumbing
Basic Carpentry
Conduct weekly van checks to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
Use company-issued tablets to track and update job progress in line with Synergize policies
Promote the client’s ‘families first’ culture in all resident interactions
Foster a strong health and safety culture, actively addressing risks or concerns

About You

Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualification(s) in a trade
Full, clean UK driving licence
Ability to pass standard security clearance checks
Strong problem-solving skills with a team-oriented approach
Excellent time management and ability to work independently
Positive, proactive attitude with a “can-do” mindset
Professional and courteous customer service skills
Proven experience in one or more core trades
Previous experience working in a social housing environment is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to meet performance targets and deadlines
