Your new company
You will be joining a Tier 1 contractor operating in the water industry, who are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team in the Nottinghamshire area on a 6-month rolling contract. You will be working on a large value water project in the Northern Wales Region on the Welsh Water AMP8 framework. This role is a mixture of office, site (1 to 2 days per fortnight) and home-based work. The contract has the potential to be a long-term freelance position.
Your new role
Manage and coordinate mechanical aspects of the project
Ensure compliance with industry standards
Monitor project progress and provide regular reports.
What you’ll need to succeed
Mechanical Project Engineer experience
Experience in sewage treatment works and new flow schemes
Chartered status is desired but not essential
Strong project management skills.
