Marketing & BD Specialist

Location: London Office Reports To: Director of Marketing & Business Development Hours: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm (flexible based on business needs)

Transactional Practice Focused Role

Key responsibilities:

Build relationships with London lawyers to identify marketing opportunities

Prepare pitches and RFPs with market research and analysis

Coordinate award submissions and legal directory rankings

Manage sponsorships, memberships, and event attendance

Collaborate on internal newsletters and communications

Support event logistics and ROI tracking

Maintain website content, lawyer bios, and proposal databases

Track and support office initiatives and marketing metrics

Identify process improvements and leverage firm technology

Skills & Attributes:

Proactive, independent, and collaborative team player

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Commercially minded with a calm, pragmatic approach

Excellent attention to detail and time management

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Comfortable in a fast-paced, professional services environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (required)

Significant experience in marketing or business development

Prior experience in a law firm or professional services firm (preferred)
