Management Accountant/Finance Manager | Harrogate (with travel to sister twice weekly) | £45k -£55k | Manufacturing

We are exclusively partnered with a successful food manufacturing business based in Harrogate, who are seeking a motivated and proactive Management Accountant/Finance Manger to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a growing organisation, working closely with the Finance Director as the number two in finance.

About the Role

As Management Accountant/Finance Manager, you will take ownership of a wide range of financial responsibilities, supporting decision-making and driving improvements across the business. Your main duties will include:

Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reporting
Supporting month-end close and presenting results to management
Implementing and improving financial processes and controls
Managing and reporting on stock, including variance analysis
Partnering with operational teams to provide insight and support
Contributing to ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
*This role requires regular travel to their sister site twice per week.*

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
Experienced in management accounting, ideally within manufacturing or a product-based environment
A strong communicator, able to build relationships across departments
Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a hands-on role
Analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
