Management Accountant – Gloucester
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Your Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Finance & Analysis

Prepare accurate and insightful monthly management accounts.
Lead budgeting and forecasting across multiple departments.
Conduct variance analysis and provide performance commentary.
Monitor KPIs and drive cost centre efficiency.
Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.

Operational Finance

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
Reconcile bank accounts and maintain the general ledger.
Assist with VAT returns and statutory reporting.
Uphold financial controls and ensure compliance.
Provide ad hoc administrative support as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

ACCA or CIMA qualified (or actively studying).
Solid experience in management accounting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills: experience with Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Commercially minded and proactive in approach.
