About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-time Letting Negotiator – Administrator to join our dynamic real estate team. This role combines the responsibilities of a Lettings Negotiator and an Administrator, requiring a versatile professional who can excel in both client-facing and behind-the-scenes tasks. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the property letting industry and possess strong customer service skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesLettings Negotiator Duties:
Conduct property viewings and provide detailed information to potential tenants
Negotiate rental terms and conditions between landlords and tenants
Maintain a comprehensive database of available properties and client requirements
Generate and follow up on leads to maximize letting opportunities
Assist in the preparation of tenancy agreements and other legal documents
Resolve conflicts and address concerns raised by both landlords and tenants
Stay up-to-date with local property market trends and legislation affecting the rental sector
Administrator Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all properties, tenants, and landlords in the company’s database
Process rental applications, including reference and credit checks
Prepare and distribute marketing materials for available properties
Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients and colleagues
Manage the scheduling of property viewings and maintenance appointments
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed correctly for each tenancy
Support other team members with administrative tasks as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a Lettings Negotiator role or similar position within the real estate industry
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships
Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Solid understanding of local property market trends and lettings legislation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for property viewings
Hours: 5 day week – Mon -Fri 8:45-6pm and 1 in 2 Saturdays 9-4, when working a Saturday you will get a day off during the week before.
