As our Learning and Development Consultant, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering initiatives that align with our talent strategy and drive our culture transformation agenda, helping colleagues to thrive. Reporting to our Culture, Learning and Development Manager, you will be part of an ambitious business-focused team that collaborates with stakeholders across the organisation to enable Quilter to achieve its strategic goals.
Key areas of responsibility:
Learning and Development core proposition delivery
Manage the effective delivery of mandatory learning across Quilter, ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are consistently met.
Manage the digital design and development of departmental computer-based training (CBT) or mandatory digital learning materials.
Curate learning content and activities that help to address identified capability and skills gaps to complement wider organisational development initiatives.
Manage the delivery of performance enhancing tools such as 360 feedback and ‘Spotlight’
Facilitate and support manager development programmes including a suite of manager essentials learning and a programme of manager learning to create the cultural shifts required in our organisation.
Support the curation and communication of learning content that’s timely, relevant and aligned with employee lifecycle stages.
Support learning event logistics, registrations, reporting and supplier management (e.g. contracts, invoicing).
Deliver elements of our onboarding and induction programme, ensuring a positive and seamless new joiner experience.
Manage routine L&D queries, conducting needs assessments and helping colleagues navigate tools, platforms and content.
Culture and Change Support
Support the delivery of Quilter’s learning-based change and culture activation work, ensuring all initiatives are inclusive, engaging, and aligned to our purpose, values and DEI goals.
Coordinate logistics and content for workshops, team interventions, and other engagement activities.
Learning Experience
Bring an outside in perspective to develop best in class modern learning experiences, including the use of AI, challenging the status quo and continually aiming high.
Ensure our learning management system is set up to be best in class to provide a standout user experience.
Integrate learning with other employee touchpoints to create a joined up and highly effective employee experience.
Manage regular reporting across L&D landscape including participation, feedback and performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in learning and development through continuous professional development, attending industry conferences, and engaging with online learning communities and feed into the continuous improvement of Quilter’s learning proposition.
You’ll work closely with:
Culture, Learning and Development Manager – to support delivery of the overall strategy and roadmap.
Employee Experience Team – to ensure learning and culture efforts are integrated across the full employee journey.
Data and Insights Team – to help monitor learning impact and engagement trends.
Communications and DEI Team – to ensure communications are inclusive and help drive adoption.
External vendors and learning providers – to help administer services and ensure quality of delivery.

About You
You’ll have a good grasp of the role L&D plays in aligning skills development with business/strategic need, demonstrating commercial value.
You’ll be customer centric in your thinking, partnering with HR leads and stakeholders in the business to ensure the delivery of L&D activity continually meets or exceeds business needs.
You’ll be creative and innovative in curating learning that engages and delivers impact with a collaborative approach.
You’ll have drive and enthusiasm to succeed and improve, offering a disciplined and planned delivery style. You’ll be curious and have good investigative skills to assess and identify learning needs and deliver suitable learning solutions.
You’ll also have strong attention to detail and analytical skills and will be practised in applying external perspectives to internal challenges, whilst staying current with contemporary thinking and being willing to challenge beliefs and traditional approaches to drive a higher quality organisational performance and culture.
Skills and Experience:
Experience in learning and development or related field.
Proficiency in Learning platforms and e-learning tools, such as Articulate 360, Storyline, Synthesia, or Elucidat.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experienced in facilitation, and workshop delivery.
