The Role
This is a great opportunity to join a leading business in Industrial Chemicals sector as an Inside Sales professional.

The role is remote, the HQ is in the South Sheffield area, ideally they would like to have you join the team at least once a week.

Communicating with customers to identify sales opportunities and identifying customer needs.
Handling new requests from non-existing customers.
Work closely and support the Customer Development Manager in various tasks to assist with business development.
Following up with Customer care dept on order receipt, processing and management of customer enquiries.
Monitor and tracking of customer contracts and agreements.
Management of service requests (e.g. samples) professionally handle and assist in resolving complaints.
Regular checking of slow-moving stock by checking stock reports and updating action taken.

The Person

You will be a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual with a passion for Chemical sales.
You will be very comfortable in being on the phone and face to face, you will play an important role in joining the sales team and customers.
You will naturally bring energy, initiative, and strong communication skills to every interaction, and you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, technical environment. Ideally you will have at least 2 years of experience in internal sales or customer service.
Previous experience in a commercial or industrial business, it would be advantageous to have chemicals as a background.
