Reed HR are currently seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated HR Advisor to join my client on a full time, permanent basis based in Woking, Surrey.

Hours: 40 a week Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch
Standalone UK role with other HR employees across Europe (around 4 in total)
Working from home offered

The role:

This highly versatile position covers all aspects of the daily HR cycle and will involve interaction with employees and managers across all European subsidiaries, as well as with colleagues from other global subsidiaries.

The role reports to the Director of Continuous Improvement, based in Europe, and will also work closely with the Global HR Administrator and HR Manager for IMEA, both based in India.

Responsibilities

Manage onboarding and offboarding procedures for the regional offices and ensure they are properly and fully completed in the cloud-based HRIS system, BambooHR.
Maintain employee files and ensure staff data is up to date, complete, and accurate in both HRIS and SharePoint.
Run bonus calculations in Excel.
Be a vital part of the end-to-end sourcing and recruitment of best-fit candidates for open positions in our growing company.
Support in overseeing payroll, benefits, and absence management together with the Global HR Administrator.
Help ensure legal compliance in all areas of human resource management by updating policies and ensuring they are properly implemented and followed.
Support managers with HR initiatives and performance management.
Deal with employee grievance matters, working closely with managers and the HR Director to encourage direct communication and ensure compliance.
Act as a backup for the India-based HR Manager.
Support efforts to nurture a positive working environment.
Organise employee engagement initiatives (activities).
Contribute to the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives of a growing company.

Your Attributes

Degree in Human Resources or a related field
Proven working experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role for at least 2 years
Strong, professional, friendly, and clear communication skills in both written and spoken English
Proficiency in Excel.
Experience working with an HRIS system
Additional language skills, preferably French or German, are considered an asset
People-oriented and results-driven.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of ethical standards
Proactive mindset and excellent self-organisation skills
In-depth knowledge of local labour law and HR best practices is considered an asset
