Housing Accommodation Officer – Berkshire

About the Role:

You’ll work closely with the Housing Options and Resettlement Teams to support residents in temporary accommodation. Your role will be key in ensuring properties are well-managed, safe, and suitable for occupation.

Key Responsibilities:

Let and manage temporary accommodation for homeless households.
Conduct audit inspections of temporary housing units.
Liaise with tenants to address concerns and support their housing journey.
Attend the Town Hall for duty days and provide front desk cover when needed.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with housing standards.

What We’re Looking For:

A confident, proactive individual with strong communication skills.
Experience in housing, property management, or a similar support role.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Comfortable with a hybrid working model.
