Head of Philanthropy

An excellent opportunity for a dedicated Head of Philanthropy to lead and develop a fundraising team in a respected non-profit organisation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, preferably in the not-for-profit sector.

Client Details

This is a well-established, mid-sized not-for-profit organisation, based in London.

Description

Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to increase philanthropic income.
Lead and manage a small team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Identify, cultivate and manage relationships with major donors and HNWI’s
Represent the organisation at external events, promoting its mission and securing financial support.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present reports to the senior management team and Board of Trustees.
Manage the fundraising budget, ensuring maximum return on investment.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective fundraising campaigns

Profile

A successful Head of Philanthropy should have:

Experience in a senior fundraising role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
A results-driven approach and the ability to work under pressure.

Job Offer

A competitive salary in the region of £55,000 – £60,000, dependent on experience.
