FX Trader

Eton Clarke has partnered with a Global Investment Bank find an Associate level, FX Spot Trader to join their FX Trading team in London.

The bank is looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in FX Spot Trading, who can help manage trades in both G10 and Emerging Market currencies. The role involves supporting client-facing desks, handling order flows, and managing a global order book.

You’ll need to be accurate, detail-oriented, and able to carry out trades precisely to maintain excellent service standards.

What You’ll Do

Trade FX spot across G10 and Emerging Market currencies
Manage a global order book while following company guidelines
Price competitively and accurately for sales teams, branches, and partners
Work closely with other traders and sales teams across the world to share ideas and market updates
Help meet trading targets and support sales performance
Stay within your trading limits and follow all compliance and risk rules
Keep management updated on trading activity, performance, or big market changes
Step in for team members when they’re away

What You’ll Need

Solid experience with FX spot trading and handling client orders (required)
Confident using FX trading platforms and understanding risk controls (required)
Good understanding of trading rules and regulations (required)
Clear communicator who can work well with teams across different regions (required)
Strong knowledge of treasury products and markets
Team player with a cooperative attitude
Strategic thinker focused on great client service
Able to solve problems, suggest improvements, and adapt to change
Organised and good at managing time
Proven track record of generating profit
Bachelor’s degree or similar experience
