Freelance Podcast Producer ~ Outside IR35 ~ 6 Month Contract

Location: Remote (TBD) | Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week total on rostered basis)
Contract: Freelance | Rate: Standard hourly rate (weekend shifts, no OT)

My client—a leading global provider of trusted business intelligence for professionals across law, tax, accounting, compliance, government, and media—is seeking a talented Weekend Podcast Producer to join their award-winning editorial team.

?? About the Role:

As Podcast Producer, you’ll take the lead in planning, producing, and publishing high-quality podcast episodes that meet the highest editorial standards. This is a hands-on production role ideal for someone with a background in media, journalism, or audio content, who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

�? Key Responsibilities:

Plan & Coordinate podcast episodes: schedule guests, research topics, and maintain the content calendar
Record & Edit interviews and narration using Adobe Audition (must be proficient)
Write & Refine show introductions, segues, and episode notes
Maintain Journalistic Standards: Ensure accuracy, balance, and proper sourcing
Manage Guests: Handle scheduling, prep, and communication
Publish & Distribute episodes to platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts
Conduct Quality Control to ensure all audio and content meet editorial and technical standards
Support Field Dispatches: Assist in editing on-the-ground reports (full training provided)

Proven experience in podcast production (end-to-end)
Proficiency in Adobe Audition (essential)
